Hello All!
My name is Kenzie and I’m the face behind Kenzierane Pottery! I have always been drawn to the tension between utility and ornamentation, creating pieces that exist between function and adornment. I tell stories that evolve through layers of experimentation and revision. My mission is to create one-of-a-kind pottery designed to be used, loved, and cherished until it's time to be replaced.
When I’m not creating in my studio, I teach at Tannery Brook Studio, an extension of Creative Explorations in Gorham, Maine!
I share a studio space with my fellow talented artist Colby Martin, who just so happens to be my dad! With his given title “The Leisure Potter,” you’ll occasionally catch some of his work on this page as well.
